What is the CAM certification?

The Certificate in Advanced Methodology (CAM) is a course issued by the International House World Organization and accredited by the Cambridge Assessment English department that increases the theoretical knowledge of a teacher's practice, as well as enhancing their practical and self-analysis skills.

Who is this course for?

  • Qualified teachers with at least two years of full-time experience.
  • Experienced teachers who wish to expand their theoretical knowledge and their skills base (for example IHC, TKT and CELTA, qualified by ICELT).
  • Teachers who wish to obtain a Diploma level degree such as the Cambridge Assessment English DELTA or who wish to prepare for BA programs (for example, Bachelor of English Teaching).
  • Teachers who plan to pursue a career in teaching English or other roles, for example: Director of Studies, Teacher Trainer, etc.
  • Teachers with level B2 of English, in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference
  • People with 18 years of age at the beginning of the course who wish to expand their theoretical and practical knowledge of English in the context of teaching.
