Who is it for? Do I need to have experience as a teacher?
The course is for people with or without teaching experience who wish to acquire the necessary tools to give functional classes of Spanish to foreigners, without needing to know another language. This could be in Mexico or in another part of the world; update their teaching practice as a language teacher or create a Spanish department in their workplace.
What topics are taught in the FPELE?
What are the course objectives?
The course aims to train people with or without teaching experience that seek an international certification. It gives them the skills to select the appropriate methodology for each class; establish a criterion for the selection and adaptation of textbooks and authentic material; prepare evaluation activities; know the elements for the successful management of a class and the parts of planning so that they can make conscious choices when planning a class.
How do I pass the course?
To be able to pass, accredit and receive the final certificate of the FPELE, it is necessary that you comply with the minimum attendance of 80% of the total hours in the course; that is to say, you can only miss four classes.
Classes start promptly, and if you over 20 minutes late, you will be considered late.
The minimum passing grade of the course is 7 points.
At the beginning of the course we will review the evaluation percentage and answer any questions.
